I got a old optiplex from a family member for free, I want to put a gtx 1060 but I'm having trouble.

I'm from North Macedonia, I got an old optiplex for free from a family member and i want to put a gtx 1060 in it, I own a xbox for my AAA games I just wanted a pc for my more niche games. i got to see around and not only gtx 1060 but every type of graphics card is ridiculously overpriced, 120 eur for a 3 gb gtx 1060, I understand pc parts are more expensive over here but when i go to ebay for germany i can find plenty of 6 gb gtx 1060 for like 60 eur. what to do?

How much are sending fees from Germany to you? I could help you out by sending a used card over, obviously the costs need to be carried by you but i don’t mind sending one. If shipping isn’t to expensive.

Before we talking more about fees etc, what kind of Optiplex you got? any picture? model number? (like Optiplex 3060 etc) form factor? (Like Full tower/or SFF). This is more important before you plug in any of the shelf GPU inside, since these OEM have some "unique" problem on their own in each specific generation and model number, not mentioning most GTX 1060 I know is atleast need 6 pin PCIe power cable, which almost all optiplex didnt have, thx to its less than 400w PSU wattage, which resorting to buy some either molex or SATA adapter to 6 Pin PCIe power cable, which is not the most fireproof thing in the world.

LENNYYYYYYYYY!!!!! WHERE R U BUOYYYYY??????

looks like you're trying to keep costs down since this is a side project. i would buy one used either on ebay or marketplace. i think it normally goes for like 60 to 80 usd on ebay. but also the cost of the card not only includes the price but shipping as well. in any case, wether buying locally or on ebay or wherever i wouldnt buy it for more than 90 euro. Also, is there any specific reason why a 1060 is preferred cause the AMD Polaris cards are also pretty cheap to find on the used market if you're interested in alternatives.
