AMD Instict GPU Homelab Bootloop

Hello there,
I am trying my first server build with an old HP Proliant ML350P Gen8 server. The server itself seems to be working, but I want to use it with a GPU. I have aquired an AMD Instict MI25 server GPU but I have trouble getting the server to boot with the GPU  because I encounter this error in an infinite loop when trying to boot with the GPU in the system. This behaviour was reproducable with two seperate GPUs of this type and in both full length PCI-E slots of the system. I was also able to reproduce the error both when trying to boot into Proxmox VE and Ubuntu Server 22.04 64bit.

Any help or inspiration for further troubleshooting steps would be much appreciated!

Have you tried windows to rule out a Linux kernel issue?
