Going with an AIO will needlessly inflate you costs. Going with anything less than a 360mm AIO defeats the point of going with an AIO unless there are specific constraints, like mini ITX builds, on top of that the CPU that has been selected doesn't need the AIO. Your AIO will be running at lowest speeds, borderline "off" even when your CPU's gonna be putting in the work. For your curiosity it could look something like this.

Budget (including currency): 1800aus-2300aus

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mainly fps games like cs:go, apex and others like gta, 2077, with back ground apps like discord google and minecraft, and coding with light video editing

Other details

would like to play 1440p on most games high graphics with 60-120+frames. I am upgrading from like Ryzen 3 something with Nividia 1060 so pretty big upgrade from that. need at least 5-6 usb ports on mobo I am also looking for a sorta black theme with a little rgb and preferably a AIO cooler. Buying parts on 14th-15th this month, still a fairly sure of compatibility but still a little not. Feel free to change parts list up to help out and any help is appreciated.

Your list:

Good CPU.

Overkill cooling.

Overspent on motherboard.

Let DDR4 go.

Old and outrageously expensive M.2.

4070 is ok.

Outrageously expensive budget case.

Can get PSU for cheaper.

here's good value. Video rendering might take a bit longer without CUDA but since you're not in a professional setting the extra minute or two isn't worth sacrificing so much else:

Overall... its fine but youve overspent in some areas which could save you money and maybe used used in other areas or just saved.

The 13400f is a good cpu

Good cooler, would also reccomend the Thermalright assassin x if its available since its a really good budget cooler but both options are good.

Thats a pretty expensive motherboard, id just go with the cheapest with the features and chipset that you need espeically with a 13400f because you dont need anything fancy for it.

DDR4?

4070 is good ground for 1440p gaming

The p3 is a good nvme not sure if thats the best value to peroformance but it'll work fine.

That case is like bargain bin tier and should cost a fraction of that, its really bad.

PSU is fine but you could save alittle by going for a less expensive model that is the same tier.

Check the the storage and psu tier lists on the forum

Hi thanks for the quick response aswell. I was a little aware that I’ve overspent in a few area just don’t really know parts with good value and performance.

the motherboard I kinda wanted a good quality mobo and I’ve seen a lot of people spend 200-300 on a mobo with similar parts. Just chose DDR4 bc heard DDR5 was expensive and not worth so I’ll look into it with the advice venomtail said in his reply. Would prefer a AMD7800 XT but not really wanting to get delivery for it so chose a 4070. I’ll look into a better case maybe a fractal focus 2 heard that has really good airflow and quality. I’ll check those lists and see if there are better or similar psu/storage for a better price

Yea ok I hear what you mean now never had a massive cpu cooler and in my opinion think they look really out of place just from videos I’ve seen but yea if it’s going to be going really low even on load then yea I agree it’s pointless and needless costs. Thank you for changing up to keep a black theme with a bit of rgb. Those parts look like they would go well besides the random white as psu but never gonna see that anyway bc of the psu cover. Thanks again for changing up I’ll heavily look into getting those parts you suggested.

Changed the Focus 2, only a few dollars more. Valid case preference.

White PSU itself is besides the point, the thing that should interest us are the while cables that come with the white PSU. You'll get a far more unique white/black contrast with white cables instead of black how everyone else has them.

Wow yea didn’t even think about the cables thought they came with the parts that needed them. White cables on a black themed pc would look very nice and very unique. Thanks for the thoughts in parts, design, and uniqueness might actually just get that instead of what ever I was thinking  of.
