School, video streaming and music, occasional gaming (I have a console to use for most demanding games I play)

Then add GPU on this build later. This is a really simple work PC I built for someone else in my Discord server with almost no cash.

The only upscale id consider at your budget range would be the motherboard, this can open the door for better CPU later on the used market. This is the board i would go with instead if you want to know. This will add 70$ to your build.

Budget (including currency): $625 max, preferably around $600

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: School, video streaming and music, occasional gaming (I have a console to use for most demanding games I play)

Other details I’m planning on buying within the next week or so, and aside from the $625 max for the pc, It would be helpful to get some recommendations for a keyboard that’s less than or equal to ~ $60

Thank you!

are you sure you want to recommend zen 2 in 2023???

Its Zen 3?

Cezanne is monolithic die with cut down cache, but its Zen 3 based. I would go for ryzen 5 3600 if it existed in the right price but there's just straight up none.

The 5500 is still a good cpu and for a budget build I'd rather get the best value even if it has to be slightly old
