Hello there, so i'm planning on building a PC in the near future (my first one) I plan on not having a disk drive in the system and instead installing windows (7) with a flash drive. Now, i've looked at many guides on how to do it with a windows computer. However, I do not own a windows machine only my Mac. So I was wondering if there was a way to format a flash drive and transfer the install files over to it with a Mac.

I've installed Windows 7 many times from USB, but I don't have a Mac. Only have experience making the bootable usb drives from Windows and Linux. There should be easy to find software out there to make a flash drive bootable.

Little word of advice. Windows 7 can be really dumb if you try to install using a newer USB 3.0 drive, even when using usb 2.0 ports. For the sake of avoiding any hassle, save the potential headache and use a standard 4GB usb 2.0 flash drive. You'll thank me.
