Ik that sli is dead with modern cards. But could u technically go back a card like the 1080ti which is fairly cheap and get 2 in sli and be able to play modern games at high settings? I'm just curious that's all.

I have one 1080ti, and I'm not sure about the most recent games

but Death Stranding ran pretty smoothly (note: I did ran it on low settings for comparison reasons)

but if you want I can load it and crank up the settings

To further clarify: a game REQUIRES compatibility with SLI to be built into during development for SLI to work.

No recent games in the last 5 or so years have had any SLI functionality, so even if you had a working setup, you’d still only utilize one gpu on any modern game.
