Hi, whenever I am trying to use Spotify on my Windows 10, the first song, whether it be first in the playlist or first recommendation, plays normally. But when I go  the second song, it goes to a completely different playlist. Its the same playlist every time that it goes to. Any ideas? ive tried clearing cache but it doesn't work

Sounds like you might have songs in your queue already. Double clicking a track should play that song from start to finish. When the song ends, what happens next depends on whether or not you had songs in your queue.

  • If there are no songs in the queue, Spotify should play the next song in the playlist / recommendation queue.
  • If you had songs in your queue from a prior session, Spotify usually tries to play those next.

Solution? Clear your queue.

Try playing music on Spotify Web and seeing if the behaviour persists. Otherwise, try uninstalling and reinstalling. Here's the dl link from Spotify https://download.scdn.co/SpotifySetup.exe

icl thats such a better solution than uninstalling and reinstalling. Thanks a lot. That genuinely saved me a lot of time
