Hi,

I've been looking for 2 days now for the perfect backpack just to come to the realisation it does not exist. Maybe the second version of the LTT backpack could come close to it. The main reason that I haven't bought the backpack is because it is to big. The perfect solution for me would be an expandable zipper, when unzipping it would expand the backpack for an extra 5 litters or something. This would make this a convertible backpack, useful for everyday commute and traveling for 3 days as well.

If I would design the ideal backpack it would look something like this:

https://www.nomatic.com/products/the-nomatic-travel-pack BUT with an extra 16 inch protected laptop sleeve on the opposite side, same compartment. I need to carry 2, 16 inch laptops and e-reader/tablet. There are backpacks that allow this but almost all of them has a main laptop compartment and a extra sleeve where the laptop would fit but is less protected.

Thought it was worth a shot to post this on the forum who knows, one day the perfect backpack might exist!

I have a different use case but find the Swissgear 1900 ScanSmart Laptop Backpack very nice.

It will fit two 17" portable monitors.

Thanks for the suggestion! I decided to go with https://briggs-riley.co.uk/collections/backpacks/products/at-work-large-cargo-backpack-kp436?variant=37441759707303 because it has 2 laptop sleeves, both with protected bottom. It also looks like it can fit enough stuff to overnight for 3 days and doesn't seem as lumpish as the LTT backpack. Only downsides to me is the expensive price and not having a convertible zipper. I do have lifetime warranty, premium materials and the size doesn't seem to large so I can live without the convertible expansion zipper.
