Pfsense Build

12860682321

This is a Pfsense router that I'm building for one of my clients. Sorry for the really bad photos, took these with my Galaxy Note 2 camera.

Specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte C1037UN with intergrated 1037U CPU (Don't know the frequency)

RAM: 4GB DDR3

Case: Sone HTPC ITX case with an intergrated 200W PSU

SSD: Samsung 830 64GB

The reason why I bought the Gigabyte motherboard is because it has two RJ-45 ethernet ports. One is for the WAN and the other for the LAN.

Final build

I still have to install the pfsense firmware when I get to my client's location to setup the network information and other things.

Other than that, this build was quick, fun(somewhat), and easy. Plus the client has a really powerful "commercial" grade router/firewall/VPN.
