Hello all, I have a question for all of you.

I am looking at upgrading my layout but in order to facilitate spacing needs in my new office I require a 25' - 30' HDMI cable, only has to be HDMI 2.1.

can anyone recommend a good brand that can handle that distance? Once the cable is in place it won't be moved or bent except at the connection point should the monitor move.

Your best bet is to use an HDMI extender, I use an HDMI to RJ5 adapter for myself and have had success running up to 25ft.

This is what I use: HDMI to RJ45 Ethernet Network Converter 2 Ports. You can find them on Amazon. There are powered and non-powered versions. I suggest using CAT 6 as I have found the signal tends to cross/interfere when using 5e.

HDMI 2.1 is a 48 gb/s connection, this won't work over a cat 6 cable.

It's also not that long, if you're worries about signal loss get an optical HDMI 2.1 cable.

Oh its definitely long, HDMI 2.1 you're lucky if it will work 10 feet without active repeating.

You had the right solution though, optical cables.
