I have that old "HP Compaq dc 7800 slim-line desktop" pc and I want to get a current Windows system running on there. I tried to install Tiny11 /w Ventoy but of corse it didn't work, because, big thanks to Alex Atkin UK for making me realise, the pc doesn't have UEFI boot. It has a Core 2 Duo E6550 and 2 GB of Ram. Do you have any suggestions on how I can install Windows on there? I don't care for the version, it'd be greatt if it was Windows 7 or newer, but Windows Vista, which it shipped with, would also be fine. If i can't get Windows 10 or 11 on it, which I probably can't, is there any compatible Linux version (preferably Ubuntu/Debian based) that can boot in legacy? I'd appreciate your help a lot!
