Well buddy, you've fallen in the NV marketing BS trap. That 3060 is just pathetic. You could upgrade to 5800X3D and probably 16GB additional memory, but until you get rid of that waste of sand GPU, you won't see much positive outcome. The 5600X is still very capable CPU if you allow it to stretch its legs, but here it's being chained down. Depending on your budget, you should aim for 7800XT or if you go a bit further back and cheaper - 6750XT or even better 6800XT.

You are not the only one though. My cousin dropped $600 on the same 3060 12GB during the height of the GPU crisis w/o asking me for advice, only to find out it's basically the same as his perfectly fine working EVGA GTX 1070Ti. At least he managed to sell it for the same price he got it for just 2 weeks later, after i almost kicked his ass over it.

| Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev 7| AsRock X570 Steel Legend |

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |

Bit jaded take, but yeah pretty much agreed in that a GPU upgrade would be the fastest way to bail out the system. RTX 4070 would be a good NVidia alternatives, but all of the GPU mentions here should run on 650W. Though the 6800XT would be a bit of a stretch if you want to use any settings beyond stock.

Depending on where the guy is located. The 4070 non-Ti here goes for €700, €100 more than the 6950XT and just €50 less than the MUCH faster 7900XT. If he is in Australia, he might be in luck, since it's one of the very few places in the world where Nvidia GPUs are better priced than the AMD ones.

Former recommends 850W, latter recommends 750W. 6950XT would be easy to agreed on because 100 euro is where 850W PSU reside but 7900XT would realistically need an overbudget to get a new PSU with.
