Gigabyte Boot Loop

Hi,

I have a Gigabyte B250M DS3H and an i5-7500

 

I am running True NAS Scale on this computer but this is a hardware issue.

 

I started with one Crucial 8GB memory module. CT8GDFRA32A

 

The computer worked fine with this, but when I upgraded to an extra 3 sticks of RAM, the system boot loops. 2 sticks of RAM in any dual channel configuration work fine, but all 4 and the PC boot loops.

When I shut it down, and remove 2 sticks, it turns on fine but the BIOS is reset.

I have tried a CPU reseat but that did not fix the problem.

 

Does anyone have any ideas about what this could be?

Hi. Just tried to update the BIOS.

The BIOS updated fine, but it didn't work to stop the boot loop with all 4 sticks of RAM.

Do you have any suggestions about what will fix the problems I am having?

So out one stock in at a time and check what voltage is supplied to each stick.

Hi, sorry it took a while to reply.

I have checked the stickers on the RAM and they all say 1.2V

I am going to send a support ticket to Crucial about this unless there is anything that you can think of. Thanks for all your help.
