Budget (including currency): €800,-

Country: Netherlands

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GTA Online, Fivem, some other games.

Other details: I want to know what I should do; I have a laptop which is decent at most (AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, 16GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz). The thing is, my laptop has an APU, so it uses 8GB of RAM in games as VRAM, so I only have 8GB of RAM in games. I could go with an EGPU, but I'm not sure if my laptop has a Thunderbolt port. It does show a lightning symbol next to the USB-C port though. On the other hand, I can build a PC for a good price (in my opinion) and get hopefully good performance out of that.

This is a spec list I'm looking at right now:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600

GPU: ASUS Radeon RX 6700 XT DUAL-RX6700XT-12G

PSU: Cooler Master MWE Bronze 650 V2

RAM: Kingston DDR4 FURY Renegade 2x8GB 3600

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M DS3H

If I go with an EGPU, I think I will go for a Razer Enclosure. Not sure what GPU to go with, but probably the Radeon RX 6700 XT DUAL-RX6700XT-12G.
