Hello I recently posted about helping to identify a noise coming from my Gigabyte windforce rtx 4070. I ended up returning that card and picking up an Asus Geforce RTX 4070 TUF. Everything works but now it's making a noise of its own that I know isn't normal. Please could you inform me as to if that is normal. It is not the gpu fans as the noise occurs when they are set to 0. Thank you for all the help.

You mean the sound like someone continuously trying to start a dead car engine ?
If so, I don't think that's normal.

You use AIO ?

No I'm on air cooling.

Well, try the other fans
Maybe one of them is the one making the noise.

Since you said the noise exist even when your GPU fans is at 0 RPM.

Any images of the setup? Is it possible that something is fixed or attached wrong etc and other fans are causing resonant vibrations?

You have a rear to front airflow, interesting, ive seen it done before but i have a front to rear myself, id recommend possibly getting a mesh filter for your rear intake fans so dust doesnt build up in your pc. But the main issue, the noise, is the GPU support firmly fixed to the GPU, as in not chattering or rubbing when running?  Other than that (and i wouldnt think that noise is made by that) ive never heard anything like that 😅

Also is it definitely the GPU or just coming from around that area, it wouldnt be the PSU fan or something?

This was my first time building a computer, so the rear to front was unintentional. Meant to be front to rear. The noise itself has gone so I am unable to locate where it was coming from. But when it was being emitted it was from the gpu. It might be the SB Fan as I have had the motherboard for 4yrs (built in 2019). Gpu Support is not interfering with the gpu fans either.

Thanks for the help.
