Hello,

R7 Am5  7700x  Deepcool AIO LS520 240mm

32gb g skill 6000mghz

TUF 3080ti

PSU:Rm850x

I have been using Hwinfo64 to monitor temps and there are times where the maximum column will hit 90 or just high 80s.

the average column never breaks 55c

the max column just makes me nervous and this is my second rig and first am5.  Anyone that can educate me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all!

AIO intake?

what is the load?  game? test?

D2/COD/Diablo4

all of my graphical setting are towards the high to ultra but I remain in game around 120 / 140fps

i notice these spikes happen during intense cutscenes/ updates / and downloads

thanks again ! that has been a common response and it makes me feel better I just redid thermal paste to arctic mx - 6

I have been seeing this exact thought all over and i appreciate it thanks again.

i had a 5800x that would idle at 26c and under 2k load it would hit 45/50c

so this is a little adjustment.

appreciate the help and understanding for a rookie.

If you are using your AIO as exhaust you are doing it wrong. Those fans need to be on the other side of the rad bringing fresh air through the rad.

Its not the size that matters, its how you use it lol.

They were waiting for you to answer a question but, yes, they like to joust. 😉

Not sure why your AIO is still on top. The best position is on the front pulling in air. Tubes down into the rad, tubes up leaving the pump head to ensure you get no air bubbles in the pump. If it won't fit down, tubes up in the rad, down in the pump.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
