DockCase Mini SSD Enclosure Problems

Hi folks,

Any of you get the DockCase SSD Enclosure, finally had one delivered. It was defective, it kept hanging windows explorer, tried contacting their support which to be fair were fairly responsive. I asked if i needed to update the firmware, they sent a link... so i did. Still faulty. Was sent a replacement, this one is looking the same too. I've tried multiple SSDs inside the device, tried the SSDs in different enclosures (the SSDs are fine). So... I'm starting to wonder if this is just a bad batch, or if they are just rip off merchants. I'm now in the middle of emailing them about the defective replacement i also recieved. 

Hows other peoples experience with these?
