Replacing CPU. Any usage?

Currently replacing my CPU (Ryzen 7 3700x) with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Are there any uses for this older CPU for my personal usage or should I try selling it? (Is it even worth selling?)

you could use it for a nas or other server but the powerdelevery is probbably to high. i would sell it

That really depends, you could always sell it. Keep in mind Ebay has pretty high seller fees. I would rather be able to sell it for cash but you may have a harder time finding a buyer willing to pay what you want for it. If having the money is less of a concern I prefer to keep my older hardware. You never know when you may need to trouble shoot your system, decide to build a NAS, or I have built my brother a couple of desktops using my older hardware and maybe a newish graphics card. All of my servers started as leftover hardware saving me a bit of cash at the time that I could spend on other hardware.

Looks like they're selling on eBay for $85-100, so if you think that amount of money is worth the time and effort of trying to find a buyer, then selling it is worth it.
