High FPS stuttering

I recently just upgraded my CPU and Motherboard to a Ryzen 5 5600x and a MSI 550 gaming plus wifi. This upgrade allowed me to play Overwatch at 600fps max, although I use 240fps to match my monitors hz rate. I’ve done a lot of work to my given overclocking software, windows 10 settings, and nvidia settings but for some reason I’m experiencing stutters and/or micro stutters. I have 4 sticks of Corsair Vengance RGB DDR4 ram running at 3600mhz capped so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve tried using XMP profiles, removing RAM slots in pairs but still can’t seem to fix it. My last hope is that I will update my BIOS in hope for a fix. If anyone has advice im open to it. Btw my GPU is a 3060ti

Try the bios update.

 

Try disabling MultiPlane Overlay MPO.

 

Try turning off adaptive sync / freesync.

Did you carry over a previous Windows install?

I’ll give it a shot. But I don’t know how to disable or find Multiplane Overlay MPO

I’m assuming so, I simply just changed the parts with no need to reinstall windows. I did reset my PC though

You can use the regedit key or edit the registry manually.

Okay I’ll update you when I give all of these a shot today. Thanks but any further advice is still open in case.
