Mouse sensitivity issue in games

My mouse sensitivity increases by ~5x when playing most games. The sensitivity on windows is fine and in some game menus is fine but once loaded in is insanely fast.

 

Context:
I have recently upgraded my pc including a new SSD. I installed windows and all my drivers etc onto this new drive and then plugged in my old second hard drive from my other pc (no windows install or anything like that, just steam library) into my new pc and dragged all my game files across to my SSD to save reinstalling them. I have noticed that games I have installed on my pc since do not tend to have this problem and it only appears to be ones I transferred from my old computer (could be coincidence), that being said I have since uninstalled several of these games and reinstalled them and the sensitivity issue is still there.

 

My mouse is a Logitech G403 and I am using the latest version of Windows 10 Pro

 

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? Thank you for any and all help

 

Games unaffected:

- World of Tanks

- Forza Horizon 5

- Minecraft

 

Things I have tried:
- 2 different brand of mouse (razer without installing synapse and generic usb mouse)
- Uninstalling G Hub as well as persistance mode and onboard mode
- Disabling mouse acceleration and increased mouse precision
- Disabling windows game mode 
- Reinstalling games (maybe steam cloud saves config files?)
- unplugging all other usb devices except keyboard and mouse

this sounds stupid but you didnt mention it, have you tried changing the in game sens?
