Hello,

First of all I would like to apologise about potential grammatical errors because I am not native English speaker. I recently bought a be quiet silent loop 2 cooler. I have a question about connecting it to my motherboard, that is a gigabyte b550 gaming x v2. I connected the 3-pin connector from the pump to the CPU_OPT (in motherboard manual CPU_OPT is described as Water Cooling CPU Fan header) connector, and the 4 pin fans to the CPU_FAN with provided with cooler fan dongle (it basically enables to connect 2 fans into one header in the motherboard).

Generally, everything works fine, CPU temperatures do not exceed 65 degrees, but I am concerned about the correct connection of the above-mentioned cables to the motherboard. I have read that such AIO pumps require a constant 12 V power, and I do not know if it is provided. In addition, in the BIOS, I do not see the possibility of switching CPU_OPT to DC control, there is only AUTO and PWM to choose from.
I am asking for help if everything is connected correctly and will not break my pump.

Well, it turns out that the pump can be connected to the CPU_OPT, without any issues. I don't want to start a new thread so I will ask here.

I have checked pump specification from producer website and pump has to run between 9V-12V. I would like to set it on 9-10 volts in order to keep the pump silent, but i can't find option in Gigabyte BIOS to control fans via voltage, only RPM control is possible. In that situation how should I set it up? Right now motherboard set it to 1800 RPM and I am afraid thats too low because producer website says that pump speed is 2800 rpm.

Huh? Most AIO pumps have moved to PWM nowadays, what kind of proprietary model of AIO do you have?
