Good day, people.

To expect the launch of Starfield, I have upgraded my system recently.

Alas, I am experiencing some low framerates.

For example in Call of Duty MW2 I have about 200 frames with FidilityCAS and FSR2.1, and I am guessing my frames will drop even more without these features.

In God of War, I have about 160 (FSR enabled) frames with really big stutters at the beginning, then it smoothes out but the frames are all over the place.

This is a far cry from the benchmarks I have been seeing lately, especially in titles like Modern Warfare, missing about 100 frames or so.

I am using a 1440p screen

First here is my setup:

I have:

1. Enabled XMP

2. Enabled ResizeBAR

3. Updated BIOS

4. Re-installed Windows with a clean install

5. I have all the latest AMD drivers

6. Disabled Core Isolation (please don't hack me )

Any suggestions on what I can do to improve my framerates?

I am unsure what more I can do with my system to improve my framerates so I can finally be at peace with my newly acquired GPU.

Of course, I will provide any more information in case I forgot it in my initial post here.

Thank you in advance.

Fix Secure Boot (set windows to boot into safe mode in msconfig; enter the BIOS, enable Secure Boot, disable CSM, make sure TPM is enabled, boot into Win safe mode, turn of the sefe boot, reboot).

Monitor your CPU temperatures. You did not mention the cooler.

An LGA 1700 CPU frame might help a bit.

@191x7 Sorry for the missing information. I am using a DeepCool LS520. I will give your suggestion a try. Thank you loads for commenting and helping out

Edit: At Idle my temperatures vary from roundabout 24c to 35c

Update: I think I have a serious bottleneck somewhere in my system. I just tried running MW2 in both 1080p and 1440p, as well with different graphical settings. At 1080 I got lower frames than 1440p, and different graphical settings didn't really change my frames at all.
