Hello, I'm currently planning to purchase a new PC this  winter. I've put together a list of components that I believe would make a solid build, but I'm interested in getting some opinions.

My primary focus is gaming, particularly Call of Duty, currently at 1080p. However, I'm planning to upgrade to 1440p at 144Hz with this new PC. I also enjoy playing other games like Rust, Assetto Corsa, GTA, RDR and more. I mostly play multiplayer games.

Here are the components I'm considering:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7GHz AM5
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte X670 AORUS ELITE AX AM5
  • CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x63 (I already have this from my previous PC, and I've seen that I can get an AM5 mount for it)
  • Case: Lian Li PC-O11 or Corsair 5000D Airflow
  • Graphics Card: MSI GEFORCE RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X
  • RAM: Kingston Fury Beast Black DDR5 6000MHz 2x8GB
  • Storage: Adata XPG SPECTRIX S40G 1TB (I also have this from my previous PC)
  • Power Supply: Corsair RM750x 750W (2021)

My budget for this build is 12,000 Danish Krone, which translates to approximately 1800 USD. I would appreciate any feedback or thoughts on this setup.

Couple weeks for the 7800XT and 7700XT, so  those will be fully running before you buy.

Wait  a few months if you're in the northern hemisphere.  Don't plan until a week or two prior.

Otherwise your though process is good, we just don't what that will be at what price in 3-4 months.

1800 USD, I'm drooling.

For my taste, the CPU's would be better without the X, 7600 or 7700.

But you seem to spend quite a bit of money on your motherboard, so if you prefer higher clocks, that's ok.

For GPU, just avoid RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X, it has temperature issues. I would recommend gaming x trio or gigabyte gaming oc.

I would recommend 32GB of memory for the future. you don't  look like making it with a lower budget.

English is not my first language, and grammatical errors do exist.

DDR5 doesn't car for 8GB sticks really, so you'd want 16GBx2 preferred as you mention.

I'd lower the motherboard and get a better CPU.  CPU = performance, motherboard = features.  Performance > features, IMO.
