Hi! I have had i problem for about 1/2 years about my 3 year old computer. My GPU fan randomly spikes in more and more games and I sometimes have to alt-f4 the game because it is so annoying. First time it happend was at the mw 2019 loading screen while loading into a game. I got jumpscared because it have never happend before, so i shut of the game and calmed down. I didint think that much about it until about the last 4-6 months or so where it has become worse and happends in more and more games. for example: I was playing rust like 3-4 months ago no problem, but now it is happening in that game too. I was also playing hitman 3 in january-march and when i play it now its also happening. I just want this gone you know. And btw I have no perfromance issues its just the fan that bugging out. I have tried updating all drivers, Reseted my computer from all programs, enabled automatic tuning in nvidia, checked for viruses, Cleaned my computer as much as i can with a vaccum cleaner and in the inside of course. I have not tried to change the bios because I dont have the experience to mess around there. You get the idea. I just want this fixed.

The pc i bought:

At first glance, it looks like you are experiencing thermal throttling. Your GPU drops in performance and your fan spikes up when your GPU gets too hot.

The usual solution is to make sure that your cooler and airflow are adequate and make sure they are not impaired by dust and dirt.

I read it all, but it still looks thermal throttling. Maybe that is your thermal paste that is not good anymore or that the airflow in your computer got more restricted that it was before.

There are no wrong answers, you just have to find the one that applies to your computer so you can fix it.
