Good External Trackpads for Linux?

YellowJersey

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently in the market for a USB external trackpad for my desktop to supplement my mousing. I seem to have developed an RSI in my right index finger, probably from excessive use of the scroll wheel in my mouse. So I was thinking of getting a USB trackpad to use with my left hand for the purposes of scrolling (a middle "open link in new tab" feature would be nice, but is not essential). Trouble is, I'm using Linux (Mint 20.3 MATE) and I understand that there can be compatibility issues and nearly all reviews only focus on Windows and maybe mac.

Are there any that you guys might recommend?

I've been doing some digging and this one seems to be the front runner (Keymecher Mano, which seems to be rebadged as I've seen what looks like an identical one from Seenda) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08686K1YX

Any ideas? Any recommendations? Resources are a bit scarce.

I did find this video on Youtube:

System Specs: Second-class potato, slightly mouldy
