Can someone explain or help as to the reason why my 6500xt causes my Lenovo thinkstatiom p320 to stay stuck on boot screen and refuses to boot on that system but a system 8 years older will? Rx 6400 worked in the Lenovo system less then week ago and to clarify it isn't power related the older system has weaker power supply and Technically consumes more

Not English-speaking person, sorry, I'll make mistakes. If you're kind, maybe you'll be able to understand.

If you're really kind, you'll nicely point that out so I will learn more about write in good English.  🙂

I would understand that if I couldn't power the card from a system that not only consumes more but is almost half the wattageof the other PSU .sustained it consumes 80w and 6400 consumed about 35 i7 2600 system optiplex mind with 180w PSU and thinkstatiom with i5 7600 with 250 same sata to 6 pin used it just locks up at boot screen even core 2 duo system with same 180w psu works

I don't make rules... Lenovo does. Look for that info...

Also: AFAIK one of the RX6000 had half of the pins of PCIe comb not populated by connections. The immediately bigger not.

RX6500 is fully connected with PCIe pins on the comb?
