windows8 and startup apps

hi guys im having issues with the apps that is on "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" for making them launch on startup however this thing wont launch apps that is set to launch as administrator and that causes openvpn client to fails to route traffic.

i am actually running 8.1 and i disabled UAC. 

Is there any way to fix this?

It's much easier to setup apps to launch at startup by using Task Scheduler. Here's a guide: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/67503-task-create-run-program-startup-log.html
