Development of what? Development is a very broad term, what you need could be a $300 PC or a $2000 PC.

i'm in high school so it will stay pretty broad i'll probably develop unity games maybe a bit of hacking and app development

try getting a less expensive CPU (try finding one with a stock cooler) and maybe a better gpu if your developing and playing games.

For that you better off focusing on the IPC because that 12/24 isnt going to be fully scaled. See if you can get 13600K or 12600K/13400/13500 on LGA1700 DDR4 platform.
