Looking for suggestions

Budget (including currency): $2500

Country: us

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p gaming and 1080p 60fps streaming

Hey everyone I am starting to look to build a new PC and am looking for some suggestions. Right now I have 2 possible part list in mind one for if I want rgb one if I want more subtle

RGB: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ronnyeclipse/saved/#view=6pPW99

Subtle: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ronnyeclipse/saved/#view=QjCckL

I7 with 7900xtx: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2yNqsh

All amd build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yPgwPF

I am not sure if amd is better but I keep seeing Intels current gen is on par with cheaper prices. Also I am seeing rumors of Intel 15th gen but no timeline on that. This is my first time going aio so I am not sure if I am going overkill with a 360mm I am just seeing they aren't much more than the 240mms

Does your build include peripherals and a monitor, also we can't see your parts list. You need to go into the parts list and click the T on the tool bar and paste it in here.

Sorry about that hopefully I fixed it. As for monitor and peripherals I already have those and if I need new ones won't be part of the PC budget

2 questions can that air cooler keep good temps on the CPU and is an rtx 4080 considered too much for 1440p?

That dual tower cooler will do fine. Tom's Hardware did a review on the non ARGB version of that cooler.  The 4080 is a solid 1440 gpu and will give you plenty of FPS.

I was thinking a 4070 ti because I have always been told the 4080 was meant for 4k and price/ performance the 4070 ti is better and doesn't lag that far behind

I noticed the 7900xtx is on par if not a little better than the 4080 but in some cases is like $200 cheaper is that a viable option or does radeons still run hot af and have wonkey drivers?

AMD cards have gotten better with their drivers although when it comes to streaming you can't beat Nvidia NVENC.
