Is multiplayer possible with android emulation?

I'd like to play some nintendo games multiplayer/coop games like Mario Kart, Mario Aces, Mario Futball and so on on my phone with emulation.

I have a S23 Ultra so I can emulate anything (maybe not Switch just yet).

If I connect multiple bluetooth controllers, do the emulators support multiplayer? Is it a big hassle to configure or is it done easily?
