I am building PC with Ryzen 5 7600, RTX 4070, on B650 Aorus Pro AX motherboard. I have an issue with Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5 RAM sticks (KF560C32RSK2-32) 2x16GB 6000MT/s CL32-38-38-80 1.35

Memory seems to be on Gigabyte website.

I have the newest bios (F8a). PC is working fine on default 4800Mhz but it is not posting when i try to run XMP profile, I was also trying to set frequency to 5600 with some different timings like 42-46-46-99 1.4v and it is still not posting.

I tried to disable Memory Context Restore but without an effect. I'm still getting that red DRAM light.

Have some of you had some similar experience? And can give me some guidance? I see a lot of posts with AORUS ELITE AX but solutions from those threads are not helping me. I haven't seen any post with AORUS PRO AX.

I don't know if matters but im running windows 11

I know this might seem like a dumb question but stranger things have happened.  You do have the ram in slots 2 and 4 counting back from the CPU don't you?  It's not a slur on your building skills it's just a simple mistake that can be made that's all

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Absolute first thing I'd be doing is reseating the RAM. DDR5 is very picky about mounting pressure, where if you aren't within a certain range it won't bott anything higher than JEDEC if it even boots at all. In my experience it's hard (but not impossible) to put too much force on the DIMMs, so err on the side of more rather than less, but play around with it as this could vary by board and I only have experience with 3 DDR5 boards.

I have installed in correct slots 2 and B2, I was also checking modules separately with B2 and also in A2.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure sure i pushed it all the way to the end.

I'm just pretty confused, I wonder whether I should order new kit of RAM or MOBO.

I don't know if I should look for EXPO RAMs cuz all tho it sounds more convincing to use AMD technology with AMD system, I heard some strange things about it and to avoid it.

Strange thing is that I can't even OC these sticks to 5000Mhz (+200).

Still double check, again it's very sensitive. There's been more than one time that I've had to reseat them when bench-testing because the XMP didn't work after swapping DIMMs.

So from what I've seen EXPO has a better chance of enabling as a lot of AMD boards don't read XMP correctly. This has probably changed since the new AGESA has released, but given they're usually the same price I'd still err towards getting an EXPO kit unless you were planning on manually tuning the RAM anyway.

Aside from reseating the DIMMs, it might be a good idea to check the socket for slightly bent pins as they can cause memory issues. Rolling back to an older BIOS release would also not be a terrible idea to see if maybe Gigabyte broke something with the new 1.0.0.7b AGESA BIOS (this is not unheard of with them). If you can't even get it 200MHz above JEDEC to boot on any of the DIMMs in any of the slots, a BIOS issue is my first guess as the issues with a board or RAM kit would almost always either be on an individual channel or an individual stick, not on any combination.

Hello!
It's a BIOS problem!
I've noticed a lot of these stupid firmware decisions over the past few years. I don't know why things are like this now, but bugs haven't been fixed for years, and this fact of "crooked" firmware makes your modern PC something like an expensive nutcracker, as getting it to work correctly is more difficult.

I had the same issue on the BIOS F4 and F7. The BIOS F8a which I'm currently using has description: "Improve DDR5 OC performance." Which may suggest that it should be working better... but unfortunately still not good enough. It also has a note: "Higher memory speeds may cause longer memory training time on the first boot." I don't know if the memory was training there should be something on the screen but I have black screen. I was waiting over 15 minutes couple times so I don't think so It can took longer than that, right?

So the solution may be waiting? Do you think this is worth it? Or just I have to buy another memory with AMD EXPO like some G.Skills or buy MOBO for example ASUS B650-e?

I ordered new RAM kit KF560C36BBEAK2-32 and it does behave in exactly the same way as the previous one. This one has an AMD EXPO, but when I try to boost it just 200MHz over JEDEC, PC doesn't give a video output and mobo DRAM red light is on.

I think I'm gonna RMA motherboard and order some MSI board like MPG B650 CARBON WIFI
