i would reacomend getting pro or home premium.

I dont reacomend getting this Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Although i have it, i got it for free.

oh okay I just put that in because I didn't know if I needed it when I started the PC up after building

It's alright, but a 750TI and an i5 for gaming isn't really that great.

You would be better off with even an FX6300 and a higher end GPU, so go for an 8320 on 990FX platform with a higher end GPU. (this makes sense in US and EU market, idk about Aus though since you guys are weird)

Consider a cheaper case, blowing 100$ on a fancy shell that does the same thing as a 50$ one doesn't really seem like the best use of money on a budget.

Use the trial version of Windows until you scape up enough pesos for Windows 8 (note not 7). You don't really lose that much functionality for running a trial version indefinitely.

i feel like you should be getting a better graphics card for how much u are spending maybe get win 7 home premium and spend the extra $$$ on a better graphics card. something similar to this http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/3Kbo2 oh and also if you are going to be using the disc to install your operating system you might want to get an optical drive

U need to get a gtx 760 at minimum, ditch the ultimate windows 7, get windows 7 home edition. Check with your school if you can get free version for windows 7. In US we do.

Get a z87 motherboard for your build

u would also need a ssd, I highly recommend it.

U can get Corsair 200r case instead, a perfect case for a decent price, u will save around 40 bucks there.

Changed it up a bit assuming you're not overclocking.

The monitor I'd personally choose, you can keep the original one you picked if you'd like.

whats the difference between AMD and intel?

An Intel CPU will usually beat an AMD CPU by a few frames (when they're both high enough, it's negligible)

If you play MMOs or older games that aren't multi-core aware, the AMD CPU will struggle. In newer games the results are more similar though.

The GPU is more of a concern, when working with lower budgets it's better to put more of the money into a better GPU where 8/10 times it will have a greater impact than the difference between a 4670k and 8320.

and obviously the AMD chip uses more power.

link.  Supposed to be really inexpensive and other people have had success with it.
