Currently I do scientific research for living as I am doing my phd, and also I work as teaching assistant at university, in mechanical engineering. This is not me bragging, I am saying it because it matters for the rest of this message. With the labs, LMG really now seems like scientific institution that needs to publish scientific papers, only in form of entertaining videos. Since the community seems to want exact data and always correct naming of the things, it is not different than peer reviewed journal publishing. The branch of the university where I am working in has around 40 researchers, however we are forced to be connected with other researchers within university, which makes us pretty diverse in topics we cover and structure of people we are working with. Our job is to do the similar thing as you are essentially doing in your company: we make assumptions, we do the lab work to test the assumptions, we gather data, we process the data, create charts, tables, figures, even animations, and we present the data with conclusions in scientific journal or 5 to 10 minutes conference presentation.

The university vaguely defines term called "Research groups". Research groups are simply groups of people who usually work together on their projects, and they publish stuff together. Every research group is self sufficient, meaning, the group can create a project, conduct it, and publish it independently, and also respond to the criticism on its own. LMG can benefit from similar workflow. Create "Research teams" where each would have its own editor, writer, etc, and people from the labs. When the team takes a project, they all work on it and contribute at the same time, meaning that the writer and editor witness the testing in the lab, or at least a part of it, and the labs member of the team reviews the writers and editors work. They create their own charts and data tables, and correspond with community, however they don't host the videos, but they do attend the recording so they could hear the things right on the spot. It is very easy to write something that makes no sense and not notice it in the written form. Everything needs to be seen by as many eyes and heard by as many ears as possible, which is what the small research team dedicated to a project can accomplish. You can differentiate into dedicated research groups for each "field" you are working in. Dedicated groups for keyboards and mice, dedicated groups for CPUs and graphic cards, power supplies, dedicated teams for monitors, dedicated teams for earphones/headphones and so on. Each research group should have a limit of projects they are working on at the same time. We usually limit ourselves, though we don't get paid by the project (for now at least) so we try not to overwork ourselves, we're not in private sector. Dedicated writers and editors for dedicated lab teams is essential for understanding of the matter, which should bring the accuracy up.

Anyhow, wish you best luck, good wind and steady sea.

p.s. I am sorry for bad English, it is not my first language.

Merged with earlier thread about community participation. From glance, your suggestion goes into that part of this happening.

The reward is not money but getting to see your note have an impact.   Seeing the record corrected.  One form of mental reward won't apply to an LTT video though since we all like LTT (right?).

Spoiler

Something more akin to the inquisition is my new suggestion.
