Just basic stuff. Work and browsing. Sometimes some gaming like R6 Siege. Thats it

Hello, I was able to put this together for you. Please Don't get the Ryzen 5 3600. They are not very good anymore as they have been known to fail and just die out recently.

The PC Case that I picked has 4 Fans installed already so you won't need any extras.

I have been building PCs for 30 years so if you have any questions please ask.

Well in terms of performance it's "OK" at this point, it has been replaced my many others. If you watch a guy on YouTube called Greg Salazar he does a series called "Fix it, Flip or Flop" were he does repairs on local PCs. He had come across about 10 Ryzen 3600s and they all have just seemed to have died without reason.

IDK about that.  A CPU 'dying' is incredibly uncommon.  I did a google and reddit search and can't really find anything.  In any case if there were any validity to this, the 5500 is usually the same price as the 3600 and runs most games about the same, which is more than fast enough for a 6600.  But frankly IDK about a single YouTube channel having a weird find like that.  Not saying it's BS, but it seems a little far-fetched.

I've heard nothing of this.  I'm still running a 1600 flawlessly.

source?

YouTube @GregSalazar

He explains in many Vids of his "Fix or Flop" Series that these Ryzen 5 3600 CPUs have gone dead for no reason at all.

So, pretty sure what to get now, except one point.

B550m + Rx6500xt or B450m + Rx6600 ?

Which ones better? Thx for all ur answers.

6600 all day.  Even compared to a 6500xt with PCIe 4.0, the 6600 on 3.0 is still like twice as fast.

If you could get a B550 + RX 6600 that would be ideal. But a B450 + RX 6600 is not something to worry about. The RX 6500XT is a bad GPU. It has really bad performance. I promise you will regret it.
