Direct storage problem

In Xbox gamebar I go to settings and then gaming features and it says, "This version of Windows does not support Direct Storage IO optimizations" and I dont know why. I'm on Windows 10 Home and it just wont work, and it doesnt detect my p5 plus nvme as compatible. PLEEEeeeEeEeeEaAaAaaSe HeeeEeeLP!                      Edit: I'm 100% sure my windows 10 is up to date.

Are you playing Ratchet clank or Forspoken? Otherwise it wont actually benefit you at all to turn it on. Even with it on its been causing major issues in ratchet Clank.

 

Otherwise its mostly a Windows 11 feature, with the very basic being in windows 10. The full suite of Direct storage like you want is pretty much only available in windows 11 without doing a ton of tinkering and by that point you may just as well use it.
