Hi,

I’m planning to upgrade my GPU, please suggest me a good one for gaming within CAD $450.

 

# Current Spec  

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

GPU - GTX 1660 ti

MOBO - Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4

Ram - TridentZ 32 GB ( DDR4 - 3200 Mhz )

PSU - NZXT C650 Gold

Case - Lian Li Lancool II mesh

Monitor - MSI Optix Optixmag27QRF 27” 1440P 165Hz

You are really close to a new 6700XT, I'd personally go for that.

I said that you where close to one. the 6700XT is a much better card than both of them in most games so I'd say its worth the wait. (LTT 4060 review)

I just checked the video, I guess I will wait then and yes I am using it for gaming mostly and some basic stuffs. Do you think any other upgrade needed?

Well, with your current motherboard you could get a 5800X3D down the line, that would be a nice upgrade down the line.

You are fine right now, no need to upgrade your CPU in order to get the most out of the 6700XT.

I wouldn't wait. Eventually those reasonably priced 6700 XT are going to sell out and then you're stuck with the garbage Nvidia 4000 series and overpriced crap like the RX 7600. Here's a 6700 XT for $460 CAD
