So I've tried to narrow down psu choice. Prices and availability seems to be all over the place at the moment but I got these so far:

NZXT C650 650W Gold - 106 euro

Phanteks AMP PH-P650G 650W - 111 euro

Super Flower Leadex III Gold 650W - 117 euro(currently sold out)

Adata XPG Core Reactor 650W - 119 euro(currently sold out)

Seasonic Focus GX 650W - 125 euro

Seasonic Focus GX 750W - 133 euro

Corsair RM850x Shift 750/850W - 174 euro

I have a 5800x3d that would max out at around 110w I think, but never during gaming. And a 4070 ti with peak load at 345w.

I would either go with the Seasonics or the RM850x, I see you listed the SHIFT versions of the RM series from Corsair, what about the non shift RMx series?
I stand by the RM series from Corsair, I will never use anything else than this PSU range. Its been so good to me throughout the years in over a dozen builds without issues.  The only other PSU manufacturer I consider would be SuperFlower.

The non shift costs the same as the shift ones. Corsair in general seems pretty overpriced right now. There is barely any stock.

The only thing making me hesitate on the Seasonic is the fan noise. From what I understand the fan is the same as the focus plus series and it was quite noisy.

It is true, the Corsair ones are quite pricey but I just can't look away from their quality and reliability.  I'd rather pay 40 euros more knowing I can have peace of mind for the next 12+ years and use it in more than one build. 40 Euros over a span of 12 years is worth it to me.  If you plan on going with the shift, just make sure it fits in your case as the cables come out sideways compared to other PSU's.  I have never heard the fan spin on my RM750i,  I have used it since 2018 in this case and the dust filter is always sparkly clean, I dont think the fan has even spun once.. ( Zero fan mode ) And I have ran quite power hungry components.

Aha I wasn't aware the shift went out sideways. Don't think that's gonna work in my Torrent Compact.

The RM750X v3 is 160 euros now. Back in May it was 89 😐

Maybe I will wait a bit more then.

the RM-e lineup is a bit cheaper in build but not compromising in reliability, they just get a bit loud in terms of relay click and fans. What about their pricing?

Also which part of Europe is this?

The RM-e is 132 euros. Would prefer something not noisy though. It's the main reason I'm replacing old psu.

I'm in Norway.

Ok I had seen the Asus one that was supposed to be really quiet but I saw too many user reports of faulty fan.

Deepcool looks noisy.

Fractal this could be a decent alternative, not sure how I missed it. 7 year warranty but that's still a lot.

The Seasonic is not that quiet from what I've seen, think the fan profile is too aggressive for a 2200 rpm fan.

I have no experience with the other PSU's so you have to take other peoples word for it. All I know is that the RMi and RMx series from corsair have been dead quiet even under heavy loads and overclocks.  People complaining about loud PSU's and Im here like: Hu? PSU's make noise?  Seriously, I have never heard my PSU and I run my NH-D15 at constant 30% fanspeed and my GPU also at 30% fanspeed, so no noise at all and even then I haven't heard my PSU.
Not to go into too much detail: I do have slight autism and I am extremely sensitive to noise ( hence the low fanspeed on my other parts ).

What's the SKU. NP-C650M or PA-6G1BB? If you buy from a webshop they have to mention the SKU.

Edit: If it's https://no.pcpartpicker.com/product/TxvdnQ/nzxt-c650-2022-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-pa-6g1bb-us get that one. That's the CWT CSZ based V2 and a lot better than the Seasonic Focus based V1. And it's relatively cheap.

Hmm ok.  It looks like the v2 has a 135mm fan instead with higher airflow but also significantly higher max db. I can't find any reviews though, would like to know how well the new fan is tuned.

Am leaning towards the Fractal one atm. Those flat cables could be nice to have in a case as tight as mine.

Here's a review of the 850w and 1000w with the fantuning in normal mode and hybrid mode.

I think I will go for Cooler Masters v750i or v850i gold multi. They just got a massive discount of 60% off and you can supposedly connect the psu to your motherboard and control the fan with software.

Any final warning before I buy?
