Should I be using Intel Core Isolation?

So, I am wondering if this feature is really that important and if I should be using it for the security it offers or if I should turn it off to squeeze out more performance. If you guys know anything else besides what I listed below please let me know.

Pros of having it on (that I know of):

  • Helps with security
  • Can prevent malicious core from being inserted into process lines

Cons of having it on (that I know of):

  • I know certain games have anti-cheat software that require it to be off to run.
  • It can cause a decrease in performance

Obviously the lists would be inversed for these if I made pro/cons list for being turned off.

If you plan o play a game that requires it to be off, then you should turn it off. On the other hand, you can turn it back on if you have stopped gaming.

Only turn it off if you have a specific reason to.

I like computers. And watching them blow up while playing GTA 5. Remember to update to Windows 11! 😁
