You probably either have remnants of a previous installation on it you can select it twice. Can you remove the second entry? If you have keyboard connection issues, assuming it's wireless, make sure to plug it into the ports specified in the manual, those will have a higher priority and should be initialized first. It could also be a windows issue or with a program that is loading on startup. With Windows 10 and up, applications that all users share will load in advance in the background so the only thing that loads when logging is is your user workspace (desktop, user directory etc., custom apps set to your profile). Check your startup queue and scheduled services that run on every boot. A lot of applications want to check for update on every boot.

Hey...

So I update the BIOS to the latest version and it fixed the multiple boot option

Hello...
Specs: i7 12700k
32gb Kingston 4800 mhz
Gigabyte 512 gen 4 SSD
I was tweaking some stuff in Bios and I noticed this.
Why is it that there are 2 same boot options?
also when turning on my system and it'll always take 5-10 sec for my mouse and keyboard to respond when on the Windows login screen
can someone please help me with this?

it was a new SSD when I installed Windows in it and I haven't tried to install any OS on it.
I didn't find any option to delete the 2nd entry
If I remember correctly there was an update couple of days of Windows 11 and after that, I saw this keyboard and mouse issue
