Hi guys,

Tech noob here and I really hope that I can get a response to what is going on, this will also be a long one, want to explain as much as I can so everyone understands.

Recently upgraded from a NZXT B550, R7 5600X Gigabyte 3070 to a AsRock B650e, R9 7900X3D, Sapphire+ Nitro 7900XTX and G Skill DDR5 6000 Mhz (16x2) RAM sticks.

After this upgrade, I've been getting so much issues it's really making me regret my purchase and I would really like some feedback and help. I'll list down all the issues I've had for the past 48 hours, some of the issues I've listed are also semi-solved.

First Issue (Solved)

After changing my parts and do a clean format from my ADATA NVMe Gen 3x4 to load in a fresh Windows 10 (Upgraded to 11 later on) I was able to use without any issue, after an hour or so, I got an error that says something along the lines of Radeon Display Driver crashed, and my game started to stutter and every now and then my entire screen would freeze, screen would go black and my discord would automatically hard crash without any error, but the games would still be running and the stutter issue would still be there.

So I DDU'd my drivers and reinstall and the black screen freeze issue is gone but not the stutter.

Second Issue (Semi-Solved)

This is when it starts giving me a headache, friends told me that my GPU could be an issue so I removed my XTX (DDU first) and slot back my 3070 and any games I've tried would run perfectly smooth, no issues at all, so that's when I slot back my XTX surprisingly 0 stutter, everything was smooth, so I'd assume that the issue was gone.

Third Issue (Currently facing)

The next day, woke up and everything was working fine and no issue, as soon as I plug in my 3rd monitor it gave me the Radeon Display Driver crash error and then soon after that my games started to stutter again, so I did a lot of troubleshoot and all outcome would persist the stutter.

Talked to the seller and friends and came up with a couple of steps.

Here's what I did

-Enabled BAR in my BIOS
-Followed a guide on youtube to manually change my GPU settings, not sure if this is good or game but I am desperate, if the settings shown in the video is bad, please let me know and I can reset it.

This was a no go, then I realized that 1 of my game's images are sharper, and realized that in the Adrenalin software setting there's an option to turn off the sharpness, it's called "Radeon Image Sharpening" I turned that off and instantly MOST of my stutters are GONE, especially games like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts, Sons of the Forest.

However, a few games which I noticed that tends to favor CPU usage which is CS:GO and Guild Wars 2 still have their stutters every now and then, just not as bad as before. (note that there's ZERO stutter when I switch back to my 3070)

Another thing I also saw was that, by turning off Desktop Capture and Instant Replay in my AMD Software, it also significantly removed the stutters from those 2 games.

So my question is, is my CPU not working as intended? I remember checking in UserBenchmark it says that my CPU is way underperforming, and if it's CPU related how come by switching a different GPU solves everything? part of me wants to believe that AMD haven't released a stable Driver for the 7900XTX as I see tons of complains, but then by turning off a few settings GPU intensive games are running fine but the CPU favored ones are having some little stutters still.

CPU and GPU temp hovers around 40-60c.

I will also drop a Google Drive link documenting all of my problems, most of the games I've recorded are GW2 and 2077 on Max settings with no Ray Tracing.

Also a small side note that I had done test with Furmark and had no stutters in there.

I would love a heads up on what may be causing this issue, thanks in advance!

**BONUS QUESTION**

Now that I need to turn off Instant Replay from my AMD Software, is there any cheap and good software that isn't too much of a hassle to use to record backwards? like Nvidia's Shadowplay and AMD's Instant Replay.

AMD is not well known for their out-of-the-gate support for their newer graphics cards. You did DDU your system, but it sounds like you're underclocking your CPU for some reason.

I checked if there was a bios update for your model, sadly it appears there isn't. It might be beneficial to check your bios for what it says about your CPU.
