Sometimes im getting this screen on my monitor then becomes normal after few secs, idk if only happens when im playing tho since it only happened to me 2 times, is it the gpu or the monitors fault? My gpu is second hand rx 580 2048sp by xfx seller said he didnt use it for mining but i think it is since based on my research theres a bios switch one is for mining one is for Gaming(correct me if im wrong) and when i got it its on the mining mode. Any thoughts?

First off wild using a CRT (Full respect for it though)

Honestly I could just be your CRT being weird; I would try with a more modern display if possible to see if the issues persists

(if you have a cpu with integrated graphics check if the same thing happens as well)

Oh im using a "normal" monitor its an AOC e950swn or something like that, its just that idk what the screen is called so i just search something like gray screen on tv lol

Btw my cpu is E5 2650 v2 and it doesnt have igpu, im also using a vga to hdmi adapter since my monitor is old and only have vga port 😞

Still trying my vga to dp incase the adapter is the problem and didnt get the "screen" for now

judging by the display output it's hard to tell.

it could be a conection based problem but really it would be eaiser to help if you tryed the same system with a different display doing this would make it alot easier to diagnose and help you fix it.

if this does happen across other displays it can be the connection or gpu.
