Screwdriver holder 3d print project

As a project to help build my skills in fusion 360 I decided to design a belt holster for my Klein ratcheting screwdriver ( I don't yet have a LTT screwdriver ).

After a few test prints to get the tolerance I wanted, I was able to print the full design. The holster uses 4 neodymium magnets to help hold the screwdriver

in position, and also gives a nice positive feel "click" when the screwdriver seats. Using magnets eliminates the need for the user to mess with opening and closing a holster

flap.     

 

 

I don't yet have the LTT screwdriver otherwise I would have made it for that, but figured I would still post this in case someone else is looking for a holster idea.

I will most likely upload the design to my Printables page, and will post a link here when I do in case someone wants to print or remix it.

That's really cool. I love the magnets
