I moved to ubuntu linux its been more than a year. I recenty got a new laptop and i am learing html css and js and i want to publish my work on the internet. And convert my old laptop that runs (Ubntu 20.04) into a webserver but not like local host. I want to host it properly with domain, SSL certificate, SQL data base http to https redirects. any one expert in this feild please i request you to help. E-mail: <REMOVED BY STAFF>

Before you set up a server, you should check if you got a public IP address from your ISP. A variable public address will do, or a fixed IP one. That is the first requirement.

If you can't have a public IP address, you can't have a server at home.

I'd personally recommend a vps to host things (plus if you want to you can set up a vpn to host things on your local machines and have it all routed through the vps), get a domain transfer it to cloudflare and set up an A record from your IP of the thing you're using to host, set up mysql php certbot and all other things down the line.
