Power supply help

Hey guys, I am looking to upgrade my PSU from a Chieftec Smart 700-A8 *not so smart* to another PSU. I have found a Corsair CX 750F RGB for a great price in my country and was wondering if it is a good one. I am changing it because the current one is kind of an explosion hazard and it isnt delivering enough power to my 1080ti due to being poor quality I guess. Also the graphics card has a bit of coil whine, its not horrible, but its noticeable, and I am hoping I can atleast reduce it by upgrading my PSU. Is this psu a good one? If not, I am open to suggestions

The Corsair CX 750F RGB is on the B:Tier  ( 2nd best tier ) in the PSU Tier list and is a very acceptable PSU.  Corsair is very reliable   The Corsair CX 750F RGB is definitely a lot safer than the Chieftec, thats for damn sure. I see nothing wrong with the Corsair CX 750F RGB, I'd use it.
