Hello,

I have a laptop with 12700H and 3060.

I have a monitor that supports adaptive sync (G-sync validated) but seemingly only through displayport.

The laptop has two video connectors, HDMI 2.1 and Displayport over thunderbolt USB-C.

If I try and connect the displayport up, adaptive sync works at 120hz but it disables the Nvidia GPU and reverts to using Iris graphics.

Likewise, using the HDMI disables Iris.

I really want to have adaptive sync at 120hz but still use the Nvidia GPU for gaming, am I out of luck?

I've tried adapters, even the expensive HDMI 2.1 to Displayport ones that need USB power, it did not detect the display as supporting G-sync.
