ok I have spent many hours trying to figure this out so I am hoping the LTT forum guru's will do me a solid with your expertise!

I am trying to get my accessories (2x display port monitors, mouse, keyboard, mic and camera) from my PC to work also on my 14" MacBook Pro. Almost like a switch I can push for PC and another for Mac kinda thing.

I know about KVM switches but can't find one that will allow me to input both monitors into the switch and output using usb-c for my Mac.

Not sure what other details you may need.

There aren't any perfect solutions available.

You just need to have 2 sets of display cables for both of your monitors.

1 set to your desktop.

1 set to a dock for your Mac.

Get a KVM - 1 connection to your desktop, 1 connection to your Mac dock.

Connect all accessories to the KVM that you want switched between systems.

you need to use a dock for your mac, and then wire that into a dual-display KVM switch.

i actually heard L1techs talk about how they're working on a USB-C KVM switch, but as it turns out, all the chipsets currently on the market are shyte.

The Sabrent TB4 KVM finally came out. Obviously very expensive.

i didnt say nonexistent, i said shyte.

according to wendell the currently available chipsets have a horrid tendency to stop working if you actually load them to rated spec.
