Removing Pre Applied Thermal Paste

Go to solution Solved by SignatureSigner,

a decent cloth and it doesn't have to be 99% ISO. the lesser % ISO will work aswell.

fairly sure you can also just use a damp cloth.

Anyone know of any of their ways of removing pre applied thermal paste off of an aio. Not the CPU. Everyone’s saying for 99% isopropyl alcohol but there’s literally none for sale around where I live and being in Northern Ireland i can’t order it online unless it’s 100ml or under and I can’t find any.

First question, why remove it? You want to use something else?
Take most of it off with normal tissue paper then dampen a microfiber cloth and remove the rest.  Should be plenty.
