Can my faulty monitor affect my GPU and other PC parts?

Well then it is confirmed that it is your monitor's issue.

And, no, it wouldn't affect any other devices connected to it.

I was watching a video while playing red dead redemption 2. My monitor suddenly started displaying green lines, flickering and displaying unreadable text. At first, I thought It was an effect in a youtube video but it stayed for a long time on the screen then I realized it was not a video. Then I connected my MacBook with a different HDMI cable to the same monitor, and the same things happened. I think my monitor died.

I currently, don't have enough money to buy the new one, so I am going to use this one for 2-3 months. Will this affect my GPU in any case?

Before saying your monitor is "dead", check with other cable, or other port of the monitor. It's most likely caused by these 2.

I occasionally have those weird lines, but it is caused by my laptop's loose HDMI port.

Yeah, I tried 3 different cables with different devices. Still looks the same. Even if you don't connect anything, it's displaying the "Connection not found"  error with same effects.
