First post ever on a forum, so sorry if I mess anything up!

I own a Philips 50PFL8956D_78 and for whatever reason I cannot get any HDMI port on it to display its native resolution (2560x1080).
Also, I used to own a Nvidia 1050 Ti and I gave up on using the native resolution, instead just hacking a custom resolution on to render everything at 2560x1080 and squish it through 1920x1080 (the apparent highest resolution its HDMI 1.4 lets me set) and after that I just stretched it back using the TV's scaling. EDIT: On Windows that would result in a 'Desktop mode' that was at 2560x1080 and an 'Active Signal Mode' that was 1920x1080. I have not found any setting that let me do that on AMD's software. However I did manage to get the opposite (a desktop that was 1080p and a 2560x1080 signal, which the TV would crop to 1080p as it for some reason can't display its own native resolution 😵‍💫) That wasn't ideal, but worked WAY better than what I came up with through AMD's software. Everything I try in there either says my monitor doesn't support it without even letting me try it out or works badly.

I would love to get the native resolution going, but I don't have many hopes left for that, I would at least like to have the same setting as I had on my Nvidia card.
The best I could get on my AMD RX 6600 is 1920x810, which is horrible at 50" as I can already see the pixels at 1080p...
