Error: file/boot/ not found

Go to solution Solved by Panda Stonetree,

Are you getting this when trying to boot from the USB, or after you perform the install?

If its when trying to boot from the USB. it could be a couple issues.

Download the ISO for ubuntu desktop.

Use https://etcher.balena.io/ to burn it to the USB. Dont use Rufus, ive had issues with that not working properly lately.

If it still happens, its probably UEFI/CSM options in the bios.  Turnoff UEFI and make sure CSM is on. That will do BIOS boot. But ubuntu should be able to do UEFI. Im thinking using Balena will fix it.

Trying to move to Ubuntu, but facing this error tried multiple usbs, slots and other us, the page freezes

Hey bro, thank you for the reply, for some reason Balena did not do the job for me I had to go back to Rufus, now I think it's working going through the install
